Tom and Kathy serve with Pioneers Mission in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Tom works as the co-director of a Christian daycare and elementary school for underprivileged children, a non-profit organization called OESER, started by their local Bolivian church. He is responsible for all the legal documents for Pioneers before the Bolivian government. Tom also works on various projects with several local Quechua communities, including the Arapi potato project to provide income for these people and a quinoa bar project to provide funds for the daycare. Tom and Kathy enjoy supporting one another in ministry and in hospitality. Kathy is committed to a restoration ministry called REVER (Restoring Lives, Equipping Restorers) and a small group discipleship ministry, with a fresh emphasis on their church and of Christ’s church in Latin America.
