ONOMA Community Outreach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit street ministry based in downtown Paterson, NJ. Each week, ONOMA serves individuals experiencing homelessness by providing food, clothing, and other resources.
The name ONOMA comes from the Greek word for “name.” At the heart of the ministry is the simple belief that every person deserves to be known, loved, and treated with dignity. ONOMA’s mission is to show the love and compassion of Christ in a personal way, starting by learning each person’s name.
